Some of you may remember the cyanotype version of the same 4x5 negative. This is scanned from a 8x10 silver gelatin print, toned in sepia, then in selenium. The lens used is a 80 years old 135/4.5 Anastigmat Pololyt that does not really show its age on this picture. The film is Ilford HP5+, souped in Rodinal 1+25.

Tehcnically and excellent photo; your talent overcomes any equipment shortcoming.

 

From an aesthetics point, I do not care for the expression on her face (I do believe the subject contributes to the aesthetics of a photo).

 

You do very nice work.
