patrickcompagnucci 30 Posted September 4, 2019 I don't know why, but this one really gave me a chuckle Jack. Well done, Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 5, 2019 Thanks, Patrick. It was the "I don't know why, but...." part of your comment that I liked the most. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,612 Posted September 5, 2019 Jack, I'm having a difficult time making sense out of this image. To put it simply, that's why I like it so much. Link to comment

DGorinstein 20 Posted September 6, 2019 Wow, Wow and triple Wow!! I cannot pursue a futile goal: to praise and comment on the uniqueness of your photograph, and the uniqueness of your personal photographic vision and what you are able to lend us through the use of your eyepiece, your witty eye, your obedient index finger (if that is the one pressing the obturator). Jack: All I can do at this time, as feelings overwhelm me, is to bow in respect and admiration. Thank you for sharing your very own Mr. McRitchie. DG Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted September 6, 2019 Hi Jack, although this image is instantly recognizable as one of yours, to me it differs from many other photos that you upload in the sense that it provokes an idea of why you photographed it more than in your other work, i.e. you seem to have a message here. I can see the characteristics that most of your images have: a very balanced and thought-out composition, the precise choice of a moment that best transfers the feeling you want to induce, the play of lines, shapes and colors. But this one seems to say something about how much care is taken to make sure nothing will go wrong with the children in the wading pool. The headless woman is a conscious choice; in this case it works better when she doesn't have a face. I don't know what's in the bottle, but I guess it's some disinfectant like chlorine. Maybe my interpretation is totally diffrent from what you had in mind. It's an intriguing image. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
