vincentoiseau 83 Posted July 13, 2019 On a very prominent place in the town of l'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue there is this chateau-like building. It currently houses a branch of a bank, the Caisse d'Épargne, but was originally built in 1880 by Honoré Dumas, an obviously wealthy miller. Your comments are very welcome. Link to comment
tai 3 Posted July 13, 2019 Great shot, Vincent! Beautifully captured this old building surrounded by plants, river, reflections ... Good light, details, depth ... plus a bird in the frame. There is a feeling of calm. Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment

vincentoiseau 83 Posted July 15, 2019 Hi Pierre, thank you for your friendly comment! The light and the clouds helped a lot, just as the combination of the 5D Mk II and the 'plastic fantastic' 50 mm 1.8 lens, which always delivers. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
pablowarko 1 Posted August 12, 2019 Hi Vincent. I think the colors are very true and composition is perfect. The contrast adds a lot of depth and the details are wonderful. Fantastic capture. I updated the photo of the caterpillar as you suggested. I thing it looks a lot better. I could not update the image so I created a new one. Thanks for your help, Paul. Link to comment
