NOTE: Yesterday I posted the same image, and as I write this note, I am looking the image upright (same as Yesterday when posting it). However, for some reason it was presented "sideways", I believe due to a glitch in PN's system. I post it again, as I r

Daniel, it never would have dawned on me that the figure in the image's top center area is a sculpture until I looked at the tags you provided. Actually, this has no material effect on the image's impact or quality, since the angel appears ready to fly upward toward the heavens. The image encourages the viewer's eye to remain on her given the framing the window provides. It seems to me that supplying a black border aids in that effort. Finally, the hint of highlights and the golden color puts the image over the top. Another favorite. - - My best always, michael

Daniel, many thanks for being so honest (that the earlier version was a lucky accident) and posting the initially intended orientation. I find it hard to decide whether any version is better - this one is certainly easier to decode for the eye - while the sideways orientation is more challenging (in a positive sense).

Hello Michael: Thank you for your comments, and you know, as I have always said, they do mean a lot to me, and I take them seriously with genuine pleasure. Allow me to share with you a comment I made yesterday to other kind members who commented on the "sideways" version, as I want you to have the full version of how it came to be. To be perfectly honest, the sideways presentation is a flaw in PN program. When I loaded it up, it was upright, and it was not my intention to present in this manner, but I guess it is a lucky mistake in the program, and thanks to your comments, I learned something of my image that had never crossed my mind, for which I am doubly grateful. I will try to post another one, hoping you can look at it as it was meant to be. My best personal regards. Have a great weekend. DG
