ANGELOLOGY

The title derives from a superb book by the same title. A literary delight, a page-turner. NOTE: This "sideways" presentation was probably a glitch from PN's system. Please see the explanation in the second one I posted today "Angelology 2)

You're certainly exploring some of the nether worlds of the subconscious with this shot. It's a great image and the sidewise orientation adds a feeling of demonic ecstasy or at least gives the picture a bacchanalian twist. On another note, I'm going to take a break from PN for awhile. My recent experience with PN has been disappointing and frustrating and I'd rather spend my time doing other things, at least for now. Best regards, Jack

Daniel, indeed an ingenious photo and caption - with the orientation and burred lines through the foreground you're creating an eerie undercurrent that adds a dark side to this innocent beauty.

@Jack: sad to hear from your plan - in case you'll share photos on some other platform - please let us know!

Hello Jack, Patrick and Wolfgang. Thank you all for your comments, and you know, as I have always said, they do mean a lot to me, and I take them seriously with genuine pleasure. To be perfectly honest, the sideways presentation is a flaw in PN program. When I loaded it up, it was upright, and it was not my intention to present in this manner, but I guess it is a lucky mistake in the program, and thanks to your comments, I learned something of my image that had never crossed my mind, for which I am doubly grateful. I will try to post another one, hoping you can look at it as it was meant to be.

On a separate note, addressed to Jack, I definitely concur with Wolfgang. Jack: It is not only a pity, but I personally fell a great loss for us your friends and for PN in general. You have been incredibly productive constantly producing challenging, interesting and technically magnificent photos as of late. I was personally happy to see you so actively participating in PN, so I insist, it will be a great loss. Whatever your new endeavors and interests, I wish you the very best, lots of luck, and may you find satisfaction in whatever you do. I will try to be in touch with you occasionally.

Thanks again to each one of you personally, and please receive my best regards. DG

Daniel, this image has all of the strong elements on which I commented in connection with the other you recently posted. There's no need ultimately for me to reiterate them. Instead, I'll just mention how fascinated I am as a result of seeing the angel's ability to levitate horizontally! - - My best always, michael
