Timo Hartikainen 556 Posted June 14, 2019 Could you provide more information about your camera/lens for this shot? When I saw the thumbnail, I thought this might be something like 6*6 film stuff, but I guess it could be from a cell phone, too. Anyway, it caught my eyes, I guess it was the square format and those bokeh balls which made me to click it. Link to comment
momagnum 5 Posted June 14, 2019 Hi Timo Thanks for your comment. I used a Leica M, asa 3200. And a APO summicron 75mm f 2,0. Aperture fully open. The square format I use more and more. It helps me focus the images. Have a nice day. Tommy Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted June 14, 2019 Ah....what a relief. One fellow soul that can fully appreciate the artistic, photographic value of grain. Used sporadically, and applied in a specific, well-thought-out instance, it renders a unique, evoking element to enhance a mystical image like this one. Congratulations. DG Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted June 14, 2019 Hi Tommy, a beautiful image, thanks to your skills and use of technique. This photo is a great example of how to turn disadvantages (like lack of light) into benefits, creating a night view with lots of atmosphere. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
