Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 8, 2019 Is that you, Emmanuel? I though you had fallen off the earth and disappeared. I just finished a long comment with another old friend from the ancient times at PN, Markku Salonen ,who occasionally drops in. Anyway, sure is good to see you. I've been holding down the fort while you guys were on extended holiday but it sure is tiring dealing with the wreck of a site and its dwindling membership. I feel like one of the last dinosaurs in the Age of Mammals. Really like your picture which I assume came from your seat in the audience. Tough to get as good an image as you have here under those conditions. I really do miss your very biographical photos. How are your kids doing? I've seen them so often in your pictures, I feel like I know them. Hope to see more pictures and posts from you in the near future. Best regards, Jack PS: like the framing as well. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,612 Posted June 14, 2019 I too am one of the dinosaurs Jack mentioned. Good to see new work from you. My wife and I had the privilege of attending a concert at which Keiko Matsui was a participant quite a few years ago, . Her piano and synthesizer work, especially, is amazing. When her husband, Kazu, joined her to the sound of taiko drums and playing a shakuhachi flute, I felt like I was transported to Japan. Perhaps Kazu is in the background. I totally agree with Jack's observation about how you were able to capture thus scene as well as you did. Link to comment
