Night in the Andes

Wonderful shot Bernardo. It must be great to see the stars revealed like this in all their natural glory.

I guess the Andes is one of the best places to watch and photograph the stars in the night sky. I also love the little hole in the rock formation!

Bernardo, I was about to review your recent photo of flamingos, until I saw this one in your portfolio. As one who hasn't yet tried in any serious way to shoot anything like this, I am just enthralled by it. Needless to say, I know why the mountains are silhouetted, and why the stars appear so bright in the nighttime sky. I love the tiny opening in the left , which may fool viewers into thinking, "That's all I get?", until scrolling up. That's when and where the magic is found. A favorite! - - michael
