sunapeephoto 0 Posted May 14, 2019 You are obviously a good photographer, however the driftwood in this photo leads my eyes out of the frame. This makes the right side of little consequence to the photo as a whole. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted May 14, 2019 [[show-photo-18539473]] John...Thank you for viewing and for the observation;of course you are totally right about my positionning of the driftwood within the frame .I wanted to have the fleeing sky centered on the frame and could also have centered the driftwood by sacrifying a view on the stump end of the tree.I have a square crop of this shot more within the rules and attach it for your perusal.Merci et salutations-Laurent Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted May 14, 2019 There's definitely more punch in this image, Laurent. But I prefer the monochrome version. - - My best, michael Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted May 15, 2019 Michael...Thank you kindly. As I explained to John above,I should have sacrified some of the direct view on the stump end and stepped to the left to move the driftwood to at least 1/3position of the frame while keeping the fleeing sky centered.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
