Wayne Melia 6,867 Posted May 9, 2019 Life is too short to let these moments pass. also love the placement on the side of the frame...., I don't know what compositional rule explains this, but guessing that breaking the principle of giving the subject space to look into is source of tension-giving life.
patrickcompagnucci 30 Posted May 9, 2019 Great capture Martin! I hope he didn't come over and harm you after you took the photo. Best regards, Patrick
Guest Guest Posted May 10, 2019 What a lovely face! "Old age is not for wimps!" as Betty Davies once said...
DGorinstein 20 Posted May 13, 2019 Absolute tops! One of the most striking street images of human life of this quality I have seen in a long while. Mentioning the exceptional DOF is already redundant in such a wonderful capture and composition. DG
solamnus 2 Posted May 13, 2019 @Wayne: Thank you:) There are some different things i could have or wanted to make difference if i had been able to, like maybe having more space behind the man and not have to crop tight. But too much was distracting around him i thought so in the end choose this crop and was happy with it.
solamnus 2 Posted May 13, 2019 @Patrick C Thanks a lot. haha no i managed to avoid that fate thankfully ;) he actually did not see me but he looked my way right after i took the shot so i managed to get "away" with it.
solamnus 2 Posted May 13, 2019 @Daniel Thank you! And thanks for a great comment:) Glad you liked it that much.
