gregverena 342 Posted March 9, 2019 Gorgeous warm light. How lucky you are to walk on a beach like this in winter-probably have it pretty much to yourself! Link to comment

frigo 4,155 Posted March 9, 2019 Holger..I like it:my beaches are sort of undercover for the time being and I look forward when they become sandy....sometimes!Great light/super shot!Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted March 9, 2019 Laurent thank you for your comment and taking time to look. This was taken a couple years ago but indeed it was still winter. I love the suns angle and warmth at that time. See you soon.............Holger Link to comment
michaellinder 16,612 Posted March 9, 2019 A most suitable title, Holger. Yet, it's only an amalgam of words; it's the image that tells the story of this beautiful, rich scene. I love the interaction in the sand between ostensibly human footprints and wind-driven ripples. The lighting borders on the magical, providing dramatic contrast. Superior work, my friend. - - My best, michael Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted March 9, 2019 Michael thank you for the very kind words and your constant support of my work, it means a lot to me. This place is very unusual in its topography and going there late afternoon in the winter months can get some great results, with a bit of luck. See you soon............Holger Link to comment
FranzWeber 368 Posted March 9, 2019 Wonderful light. I think it wasn't as warm as it seems to be. Best regards, Franz Link to comment

patrickcompagnucci 30 Posted March 9, 2019 Great shot Holger, color and shadows. I've never been up in that area of the state, but it looks like I definitely need to take a little road trip. BR Patrick Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted March 9, 2019 Thank you Patrick. This beach area of Keansburg is behind a parking lot right next to the amusement park, I only go when it's off season. See you soon............Holger Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted March 10, 2019 Hi Holger, the path you have photographed here is wonderfully lit. The sunny side-/backlight creates a warm atmosphere in a cold landscape. Well seen and photographed! Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
