I'll get in line with the others and add my applause for this photo. It takes a picture like this to really bring home the feeling of raw weather. The less you see explicitly, the more the imagination is engaged in creating and interpreting the scene. That little bit of bright color in the sign is riveting

Jack...I am happy that this one has caught your eye and for your always awakening observation,in this case to the feeling of raw weather which is nothing but normal(I am not saying enjoying it) for those of us having to cope with it for the better part of half the calendar year.Glad you like this one enough to park it in your Favorites!Merci et salutations-Laurent

Laurent:

What a fabulous shot! The yellow crossing sign to me “makes” this photo a wonderful abstract.

Superb!! The lesson learned is to pick up the camera first BEFORE going at the windshield with the ice scraper and window defroster!! I’ll have to take my own advice this winter!!

Again, a fantastic work of art!

Warren...Thank you for your kind observation. This glaze however is not from the morning ice-up but from the wind projected snow melting as it hit the warm/hot windshield which I found as I came back in the car after taking a few street shots in the stormy weather outside.....but basically same effect.Salutations-Laurent
