In the front is the statue of Tang Sanzang, know from the Journey to the West. In the back, the pagoda where the scriptures he returned were kept safe.

Nice shot of the Wild Goose Pagoda! That, and of course the incredible Terra Cotta Warriors made Xi àn a marvelous place to visit!! I was there in 2010
