Hello Zibigniew, and thank you very much for your comment. I sincerely appreciate it. Sometimes one finds such strange things when and where you least expect it. I still cannot understand why an abandoned boat was put to occupy valuable (maybe it is not so valuable) but in the middle of a small fishing town. I am glad and grateful they did this because it is unique, odd, and a sight for tourists....that, in my case, I will never forget. Taking it from many angles, distance, and then trying different presentations, like BW or color. An old thing that entertained me for hours, like a toy for a baby. Best regards. DG

Daniel...Bon oeil pour detecter et ensuite en saisir une excellente image. An ordinary subject skillfully turned into a choice image.I live in an area where fishing is the main livelihood and where old fishing boats like this can be found in most of the villages.Historically, boats were built here and generally survived several generations in an era where it was taken for granted that the children of fishermen were destined to be fishermen/fisherwomen.Once a boat like this had served its useful fishing seasons and retirement had arrived, the thought of discarting it was defeated by the sentimental need to have it around...so,with the space available in our rural setting, many of these old boats were simply parked at the back of the property to be eventually overtaken by vegetation.I often see some of these and now your photographic revival of Evelyn May has given me the nudge to try it on one of our old floaters.Salutations-Laurent
