Ken Ratcliffe 103,712 Posted July 26, 2018 Great shot and the car brings back so many memories. An Austin A30 or A35, my first car, but without the over size wheels. Best regards Ken. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted July 26, 2018 Ken...Thank you.The little Austin, very rare here, was taken off its frame and re-installed atop an all wheel drive plateform, energized and equipped with the big wheels to compete in Mud-Bog action. It was nicely done and a very appreciated entry in the local car show where it stood pretty for the eyes/cameras.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
Gerald Cafferty 83,687 Posted July 29, 2018 Showing my age, the body is an A35 with an A30 grill. The A30 had a smaller rear window and different door pressing...................................GC. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted July 29, 2018 Gerald...Thank you for viewing and for noting the differences between models.Back when I was a kid, also quite some time ago,British cars(we referred to them as English cars)were rather few in our countryside and these were just called Baby-Austins given their relative size to the American models which were the norm.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
