Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 24, 2018 The shadow image is effective in injecting a sense of disquiet, even incipient terror into this picture. I think it captures a bit of the temper of the times, at least for me. Hadn't seem anything from you for awhile so it's good to see you haven't haven't completely disappeared into points unknown. DGorinstein 20 Posted June 27, 2018 Hello David: It's been quite a while since I have seen your work. Congratulations on you being awarded POW. A disquieting, disheveling composition. It invites reflection and projection from the observer, a feat in photography, old-school or modern. The expression is masterful in light of the object confronting this young girl. Truly artistic and photography of a higher category and level. Bravo. DG Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 503 Posted June 27, 2018 Congratulations David for a well deserved award for this beautiful image that shows the fear and nightmares of the adolescent, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
Saadsalem 74 Posted June 28, 2018 Some photos are to be criticized, others are to be corrected, some are to be learned from, a great number are not be viewed at all while the majority of total photos shot are to be bypassed. Only very few, from one in a million or even less of the total photos shot ( some tens of billions in 2017) are to be rewarded for a reason or another, this shot is one of them, just it need a bigger reward than POTW. Congratulation. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted June 28, 2018 David, I'm not able to come up with any comments that won't replicate what's already been stated. So, I'll just note my concurrence with all of them. Congratulations on the POTW. Link to comment

DavidRabinowitz 9 Posted July 19, 2018 I would stay more active on photo.net but I can't access a.lot of the features...I keep getting error messages..I've tried to ask photo.net about this, but I just haven't heard back from anyone...I paid my dues which is fairly cheap but I'm not sure how to get someone to help me with these issues...for instance, I can't access any forums and other features...I wish they went back to pn 1.0 or improved pn 2.0...regards....David Link to comment
Saadsalem 74 Posted July 20, 2018 I agree with you on the difficult issues, I guess PN have been retreated a lot, lost its great members and popularity because of this alleged improvements. I want to help, but very unfortunately I can't and I myself don't know how. but if you allow me I will copy your complaint and will post it in the forum. My regards. Link to comment
