vincentoiseau 83 Posted June 12, 2018 Hi Franz, thanks for your suggestion. How much do you think should be cut on the left side? I want to keep the path and the trunk in the photo. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted June 12, 2018 Hi Tatiana, it was on a november walk that I came across this scene. The light was magnificent and luckily I didn't need a tripod (I had forgotten to put the quick release plate on to the camera so I couldn't use it). Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
FranzWeber 368 Posted June 13, 2018 Vincent, I would cut the leaves. The trunk should not be cut. Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted June 13, 2018 Hi Franz, now I understand what you mean. That would be an improvement, thanks! Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment

DGorinstein 20 Posted November 3, 2019 The perfect title....for a glorious photograph. It immediately immerses the viewer and he/she can actually experience the aromas of the wood and the muted silence but for the enchanting chanting of birds. You have a jewel here. DG Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted November 3, 2019 Hi Daniel, thank you very much for your friendly comments! The light was just marvelous, I had only the composition and exposure to worry about, which wasn't a problem at all. By the way, you are right about the scene being silent; there were just the 'typical' wood sounds, like little branches falling and gusts of wind through the leaves. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
