Guest Guest Posted June 5, 2018 Lock, key, chains, hands, rose, candle. Feels symbol-laden, heavy both in content and processing. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted June 5, 2018 There's a hint of a storyline here - what happens when the box is opened. Yet,picking up on Fred's comment, I'd like the image more if the arms and hands didn't look quite as grotesque. Link to comment
Saadsalem 74 Posted June 8, 2018 As Fred said symbol-laden, all in a background of seeds( pine ) and fallen leaves, Life as we know it , no one could explain it fully as it is meant to be from point of view of its founder, but may be sooner or later a candle light could shed some light on its purpose, goals, reasons, why and for what. Rose for love, lock, key, and chain are for secrets, candle for hope, seed and leaves for birth and death , and the hands for being present. Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted December 5, 2018 Amazingly complex but executed to perfection to create almost-reality with imagination and sensibility. Powerful, dramatic, artistic. DG Link to comment
gyuker 0 Posted February 1, 2019 To me, this speaks of a love, treasured and nourished over a lifetime. His love still exists but her love not accessible. Perhaps his love has dementia, alzheimers or has suffered a terrible stroke and can no longer communicate with him. Wonderfully expressed Stephen. Bravo Sir! Link to comment
