Superb osprey portrait. Almost looks like this guy was posing for you! I was never that lucky with them!!!

Thanks Warren! She has a nest on top of a pole 20 feet away from this shot. Looks MUCH better on a tree than in the nest. She and her mate just returned (I'm in NY) last week. We'll look forward to some little one's and therefore much fishing activity soon!

I’m in NY too. South shore of Long Island. Plenty of ospreys here also.
