hstelljes 41 Posted February 6, 2018 The light coming from the back was a bit harsh but illuminated the carriage . Thanks for looking. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted February 6, 2018 Holger, ordinarily I would have an issue with with such a strong backlight. However, its impact somehow is lessened by your overall management of the scene's lighting, especially the predominance of shadow and dark midtones. The orange tones are rich, and contrast well with the greens. In summary, this image is a fine homage to the carriage it depicts. - - My best, michael Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted February 6, 2018 Thanks Michael, My sentiments exactly. I'ts a catch-22 without the backlight I wouldn't get the same result. Thanks for your time, see you soon.....Holger Link to comment

tai 3 Posted February 7, 2018 Glad to see your charming picture, Holger! I looked with pleasure. I noticed the wheels of this elegant coach do not have a tread. Probably, the carriage is over 200 years old. I like the frame, this interesting light and shadows, colors. Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
