To me, this image is quite well crafted. Its soft tonal contrasts seem to augment the image's peaceful mood. I like how there's no way of telling how far, or to what destination, the road leads. Indeed, I would have liked the image without the presence of the human figure, the blackness of which seems to destroy the mood previously mentioned; it just strikes me as alien.

I see some haloing on the person so possibly it is oversharpened. I would like the crop if the person was not present, but suggest cropping in and creating a portrait image to make the person less of a smudge and a larger part of the image.

The figure appears alien to me as well, but I actually like that, as I find it adds to the mystery of the image. Without the oddly dark human presence, the photo would still be lovely, though more along the lines of images I’ve seen many times.

It's a pleasant image, and the mist is enticing. The asphalt rather detracts from the concept of the "Romantic solitary figure" though. A farm track or simple forest trail may have worked better in my opinion, if that was the look the photographer was going for.
