Elephant

Congratulations, Michael, on the well deserved POTD. You've captured both the appearance and the spirit of this magnificent creature. To me, the eye is powerfully expressive.

I add my congratulations, as I find your great image quite different and is a fresh approach of a much-photographed subject. A different, more dramatic angle, superb sharpness and there are some very interesting hues and colors brought to the forefront in this very clever sepia treatment. The texture is superb. Bravo. DG
