michaellinder 16,612 Posted October 28, 2017 Kelly, although the original color version might be impressive, I'm glad you decided to convert it to b&w. The rather extensive scale of grayscale tones really shows off this beautiful, bucolic setting. Moreover, the couple together on the shore of the lake not only adds interest, but also ties all the natural elements together. I just wish the man was doing something else - anything - besides looking at cell phone. (Maybe that's the story you intended for the image.) Link to comment

I actually did like the contrast between the woman, who is relaxed and enoying the moment, and the man, who is absorbed in technology despite all the beauty around him. It would have been great to capture them both being in the moment, but he just never put it down! Link to comment
