Trees on a foggy night

Does this picture work? I'm not sure if it's too dark, but I

couldn't expose it more without the light on the left getting too bright.

and that's the name of the game. I personally like it. Yes, it's a bit dark, but very effective that way. I also like the composition It could easily adorn the cover of a horror novel.

i'm not convinced this worked out, the color is somewhat too saturated almost..

The shed to the left is really catching my eyes. What kind of people/creature is living there? Beautiful picture. The redishness to it (and the other night pics), is it due to the Canon camera?

No, the colors are actually pretty accurate - it was a very foggy night, and the street light had a very dark orange tint to its light.
