Hi Holger. This image is definitely interesting. I like the romantic atmosphere here. The light coming in through the window gives warmth to the image.

However my eyes go directly to the rectangle of light, it seems that it has too much protagonism...... Kind Regards, Rosario.

Tonality and atmosphere are indeed captured really well. The scene is revolving around the bag (which is a nice visual anchorpoint with it's dark tones, yet still clear details). I wonder how (or whether at all) the photo would work, if the bag had been placed in the middle of the bright patch on the bed.

It's the bag left on the bed that injects just the right note of the personal to this picture. The bag's owner has stepped out for the moment but seems present even in absentia. It's a beautifully composed interior with a great range of tones. A difficult picture to shoot but one that you captured expertly
