Your photo looks like it has 2 subjects, and in this particular photo, this doesn't work. The left part is great, and it could stand by itself.

This would be an enormously good photograph WITHOUT the shadow. With the shadow, it is just distracting.

To me this photo tells a very intriguing story. The shadow looks like another man is stalking the one with the umbrella. Very nice photo!
