Julie H 312 Posted June 7, 2017 The blue crystalline structure looks like a dry topographical map of a land far below the figure. She looks embryonic, passive, she floats at the edge of darkness and light, eyeless, arms damaged and still, only her legs look functional, sensing, feeling the ladder in front of her that leads ... to heaven? To us? Or down to the blue earth. (I really like her feet: I haven't figured out why ... ) Link to comment

As someone who dabbles frequently with abstract photography, I always find inspiration in witnessing other styles and techniques. Quite honestly, in viewing this image, I was struck by what I consider its uniqueness. I suspect that Julie's comments serve as the appropriate explanation for my impression. (Thanks, Julie.)
