Great lead in photo, perhaps the beginning of a story, and of course the image tells a story on its own.

Absolutely great! Having said that, and by no means in detriment of your great photo, IF you like, you have the resources of post-processing programs to enhance contrast. It would give it an extra punch. Nonetheless, I ABSOLUTELY RESPECT how the photographer wants to present his/her take, and that is why I absolutely like this image.
