Hi Holger,

Nice and very relaxing image,

-2009-Coney Island-Brooklyn-

I think the photo will look very iconic after a couple of decades ,

That place is very famous-and now just started to look more modern-which is good and bad...

At least we still have 'Cyclone' roller coaster ;)

Regards,

ZT,

Very interesting way to explore or present the activities of a certain group of various characters! In perspective, that is! Well done, my friend! Cheers! PDE

Holger: A distinct vintage feel to this shot, maybe the lack of phones helps arrive at that feeling. Well done... Mike

Bill, Mike and Radu, Thanks very much for looking and commenting on this image. Mike I used the smallest amount of sepia in the conversion and your comment was what I was shooting for, but I like the lack of phones idea even better. See you all soon..........Holger

Holger, This is an interesting street image that works well in B&W. As I look at it, it appears to get softer in focus toward the rear. Is this intended? Larry

Larry,Thanks for the comment and a good one it is. I don't remember if it was intentional but I think the soft focus works out ok because all the good action seemed to be happening in those first to benches. I checked the metadata of the image and I shot this at f4 and 60mm focal lenth iso 100 with a canon 40D. The original color version has the same soft focus so I didn't add it in PS. Thanks again for your visit, see you soon..............Holger
