Taken in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Every morning Buddhist monks walk the streets of

the city collecting alms from residents.

The splash of color grabs our attention - very nice dark moody scene -

Nice! There's something surreal about the golden umbrellas and swirling orange robes, with only the hands and feet to show that these are people. I'm also really enjoying the juxtaposition of the monks' umbrellas against the vendor's large umbrella in the background. It's interesting how important the blue hat and orange shirt are for subtly filling the space between the 2nd & 3rd monks--the 3rd monk is critical to the composition, and the blue hat and orange shirt are critical to keeping the 3rd monk an integral part of the composition. Or to put it another way, your timing and framing were perfect.

An unusual street scene. Four equidistant people create visual rhythm. Four monks would have created the feel of a parade. The man moving in opposite direction breaks the sense of motion and creates a visual tension that enhances the composition. Very well caught.
