This doesn't do anything for me. I know it's very well-crafted, and I'll just leave it at that.

Excellent mood and simplicity, nice work.

The over-sharpening of the figure as well as the softening of the background give rise to an artificial feel that I find unattractive. The white halo around the black edges of the figure further reinforce that cut and paste look.
