Lynne - I'm most impressed by this series.  This image is my favorite (quite a difficult choice, since the entire series is outstanding).

To begin, I applaud your use of monochrome here.  I'm not sure that the original color version would have done as well with some of the subtle contrasts and the lighting.  Clearly, the image has an abstract feel, primarily due to the subtle reflections on the structure's floor.  The fact that the reflections include human figures is a huge plus, in my opinion.  Sometimes I find architecture without a human presence somewhat cold as a photographic subject.
