Nice city snow landscape.

I love the way this picture seems evenly split between sunlight and shadow but with light details in the dark side and dark notes in the sunlit section.

I love the light on the tree branches and the general feel (which seems so cold) of the street.  It's a very nice composition.  The reds pop as well.

Thanks.  It was the light on that tree that first caught my attention and I knew I had to get the camera out. I took about 6 different shots of this scene but settled for this one.

Thanks and Happy New Year to you also. You and I like the light on that tree as i mentioned in my response to Jack.  My only regret was that I wanted to  move slightly to the right but I was in the middle of a two way street and a car was already approaching in front of  me. 

 

A glass half full; I prefer to think the warm light is driving out the cold shadows.  Well done... Mike
