Dale M 1 Posted December 17, 2016 Such a pity those speed-boats are there as there is no other indication of modernity in this image. That said, the sepia is still a nice effect here as the image is full of texture which is brought to the fore by the lack of the colour dimension. The image is beautifully pin-sharp, though is perhaps a little hard for my liking: I think a softer contrast would have made the picture even better, bringing out some detail in the buildings and in the cannon itself.
