I like the fall colors in the water, but I especially like the Hooded Merganser. They are a beautiful duck. I wish the bird was a little larger in the image, but enlarging and cropping may have caused a loss of detail. Just my guess. Anyway, still a very pleasing photograph. Congrats!

Thanks Don and Giangiorgio for the kind words. The Mergansers are pretty ducks, especially the Hooded variety. Max zoom didn't give great detail, but I am happy with the framing of the ripples and additional colors in the wide crop.
