It  came together nicely, and simple process in bw. When you have great comp. and subject matter it just works. Proof.

There is just enough blur in the hands and feet and background to enhance the feeling of movement.  The bicycles also suggest motion.  Their circular wheels are echoed in the graffiti and the semicircular window above the door.  The characters are animated in their poses, and the light separates them well from the background. Well done, Jack.

The factors Mark and Marie have mentioned drove me to look at every square mm of this image.  I find it interesting, and also puzzling, how primarily the tie belonging to the man on the left is in sharp focus while the rest of him is not.  The man on the right is in varying degrees of blur.  Put all of this together and, in my opinion, we have an antique-ish image.

You've definitely caught them at the right moment. I like this in b&w, only way to go for an image like this.

Hi Jack.   Excellent capture of  movement, perfectly chosen shutter speed, composition. A very good b&w  works indeed.

All the best to you.
