Dear Jack. Thank you for your most thoughtful and poignant comment. I wish I knew more too....I was having a cup of coffee and a muffin in an nondescript little shop (you would NEVER see me in Starbucks, as I do really appreciate good quality coffee). I was sitting by the table waiting for my order, and after a very long while, the owner did not make his presence known. I made a wild guess that a young (if you pardon the expression, and with all due respect) "hippiesh looking" fellow in overalls and long unkempt hair talking a for a long while just outside the coffee shop, might be the author of these beautiful "photographic plate" - served just for me.... I sipped my coffee and after a long while, left the place, without the author returning to te table, with the pencils still anxious to continue being guided by a dexterous and able hand. I just savor the artful display of a drawing-lustration notebook. I wish I could do something like that. So, all in all, as I write this, it is a tribute to the anonymous artist who left such a wonderful gourmand delicacy cooling off at the table....

A fabulous capture of this artist's musings.  I wish you could have spoken to him - what a talent - and what a treat for you as you waited for your coffee. The 'eyes' say it all ! Truly enjoy your edit, quality of light, tones - they provide the perfect mood for his sketches and the wooden table with the Artist's tools on display.
