It  is a beautiful  single tree with a nice background. I would  go  lower, to ground  level  to  shot  this  image, so, the  tree  would be  separated  and  highlighted  in the sky, not  cut  half  by the  horizon. For  me, everything  is  perfect,  the  tree at  the  left and the shadow  pointing  to the  middle of the image, as supposed  to  be, and  the  background  element  is  add to  the  beauty  of  the composition. I even like the  part of  the background  darker, it  is  in  the  shade  by a clods .  A bit  of  color  contrast, saturation  would help too. Increase the blue  channel for the sky also.
