The abstract effect works well for this.  Very soft and calming.  I have the D5300 too but haven't tried its multiple exposure.  Or did you do this in post-processing?  Regards, Jeff

Glad you liked it Jeff. Rather than take up room here, I've sent you a short email with details.

Thanks again.

Overall, a very thought through image, with lots on tasty detail, tones and lines. Composition - textbook! I kinda prefer the small version on it, I just do :)

Vjacheslav -

Thanks for the comment. Interesting that you prefer the smaller format. I'd be interested to find out more about why. If you have the time take a look at an updated larger format at

In my opinion it's better than the version I first posted on PN. I'd be interested to get your view.

By the way, I like your tiger portrait. Excellent.

Best regards,

Peter.

Just to clarify - I like 'em both :)

Usually I would go for a more detailed one as I am a true detail-nerd. But what makes it for me here is an overall feel and the way sharpness and blur work together, that I can appreciate more in a smaller image. Also, it is more abstract for me when it is small and I don't even need to understand what is in the frame. When I see a larger image, I am automatically drawn to the main line which is the road and the image starts to be less abstract or mysterious... Anyways, congrats on an outstanding shot!

VS
