Leslie Reid 5,278 Posted September 15, 2016 I love the gray background and the soft colors of the foreground and backlit trees, and I particularly like how the lines formed by the ridges and vegetation converge at the center left. The little strip of reddish-orange vegetation that separates the greens of the sunlit foreground from the blue-grays of the background is perfect--it places an emphasis on that line in a way that I don't think anything else could, and its placement against the blue-gray makes those warm colors really glow. I like the subtlety with which you've handled the tones and colors in the image. It looks like the photo may be over-sharpened a bit--is your editing program giving the image extra sharpening when you export the photo? Anyway, this is a very nice image! Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 625 Posted September 15, 2016 I echo Leslie's critique. The grain like appearance does not hide the well designed/composed image. Well done, Birger. Link to comment
