glenroy 0 Posted June 25, 2007 Hi Martin. First the good points. You have caught the action at the right moment. We can see what is going on and the overall feel and the mood of the photo is obvious. Now for the constructive points. The shutter speed used is too slow as is has blured the main figures. The lens you are using is not too good for indoor shots as the max appature is too small. The shutter needs to be about 2 or 3 times faster for this kind of shooting. I have found that for most volleyball you need about 1/300 sec especially with a longer lens. martin_domok2 0 Posted June 25, 2007 Glen, saw ur pictures, nice, U had a better lens, after shooting as a pro for a year, I took much better shots, than this... using a 300mm F2.8, sweet lens, however, 400 F2.8 is better, but heavier too. On this shot, I wanted to make it blury, there was enough light to freeze the action... Link to comment
