excellent shot. the surroundings are very interesting, and the lighting is very good-it gives the girl's skin a very nice sheen.

cold and lonely... in a very beautiful way.

It is great photo 6/6 from me. Since it is 'despair' I understand it had to be blue and low in high tones, yet I could not resist to change it slightly into less narrative but maybe more formal composition.

I like the photograph (composition, toning), but I don't find the title fitting at all. The model is much to clean and refined to give me any feelings of melancholy or gloom. She just looks like a pretty girl in a not so pretty place. If I were to title it, I would focus more on the contrast between the subject and her surroundings. Despair might describe the place, but that is all.

I like the tone

Hey Chris, I really like this one. I go both ways on this. The surroundings and the girls position is beautiful. Love it the way it is. I would like to see a version were the girl has dirty marks from her surroundings on her. The reason is because of the notches on the wall indicating time spend. Would you consider running it through PS and post with dirt? Just a thought but another great image!

The look on the girls face tells much more that the title does. She seems to be playing a game and to me and this adds mystery to the situation. If she is indeed playing a part in a sexual game then this photo is more real than if she had marks of dirt to accompany the background.
