Great work Tony. I love the projected boat silhouettes on the horizon and the "Yin - Yang" feeling of the image.

This image is stunning in black and white. I prefer it to the color version. You've achieved wonderful tones here, Tony, again with your appreciation and use of end of day light.

Tony I totally agree with Jack on this. The tones are great and even brings forth more texture than a color version. Like it a lot. The entire scene is well balanced and composed.

Wonderful shot and very relaxing to watch with all those boats resting in the distance.  The black and white seems to add impact.

I really like this image.  It is the kind of scene I can see looking at when I need to clear my head and relax.  Congratulations Phil

Michail, Mike, Charles, Patsy, Jack, Holger, Bachir, Phil - I appreciate all of the very positive feedback and how the image made you feel. Grenada is the birthplace of my late Biological mother (I was adopted) and I decided to take a 3 week holiday there this past winter. She is buried in a small family plot up in the mountains in a very pretty area.  I took the opportunity to explore both the cemetery and what Grenada has to offer in terms of scenery. I would love to go back and that is in the realm of possibility.

This area is at the very southern tip of the island and this might be the only area with a black sand beach but I am not sure of that. Not far from here and still in the southern area, there is a

where the sand is white, stretches for miles and is more developed touristically but still with space for everyone.

At this spot, I spent about an hour and I might have shot as many as 20 images - maybe more. Most of them I should be deleting but that is so hard to do. In any event, here is another from that shoot:

I like this new image as well. The Vertical makes a very different but equally strong statement. Again I think the B&W treatment brings out the details in ways that color would not.
