This does not work for me. A shot with just the sea and sky would have looked wonderful, but the promenade doesn't fit in and somehow spoils the image. Another take with it that would have worked (for me at least) would be a straight view from the promenade to the sea, orthogonal to the railing and featuring it on the bottom.

I think its effective, Phil. Dropping the exposure a little on the sky and the sea might help it. Alternatively it might be a candidate for a little tone mapping. But an effective shot as it is. Rgds. Rick
