This is Oquaga Lake a state park in New York state. While visiting

my in-laws I escaped to take a few images;-) On a hot day this

seemed quite refreshing. Your comments or thoughts are most

welcome. Thanks for looking.

Holger,

This looks so peaceful and cool.  Today the heat index reached 108 where I live.  Good shot.  Wish I was there.

The lake's rich blue, the vegetation's lush green, the clouds dappling the sky - all ingredients that invite a photographer to stay and shoot.  Well done . . .

Thank you all very much for the look and kind words. I currently have this image as my desktop background on a 23" monitor and unfortunately it has really lost some detail in the transfer to PN....so it goes. See you soon.

Dear Kathy and Jorge, Thanks for viewing and commenting on this image. Kathy it sounds like your not far from where my sister lives near Stamford, NY. This state park is near my in-laws near Deposit. Small world after all. See you soon.

Jan, Gail, Mehmet and PD, First thank you for the look and write, most appreciated. Gail my in-laws live 5 minutes from hear and I just decided a half hour before dinner to go take a couple of shots, as the sky was very inviting, needless to say I was apologizing for being late to my very sweet mother-in-law as I lost track of time...........duh, how predictable.
