GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted May 17, 2016 You weren't all that far from this fellow at 300mm. The early morning hours and light were in your favour for this shot. Just enough light to see details in his face and body. One day I will have a good lens like this - hope I can stay quiet long enough to get a wonderful capture like this!! Link to comment
dgv 1 Posted May 19, 2016 As I said before, these deer although wild they are very used to photographers as a lot of them visit the site. Richmond Park is enormous, sometimes you have to walk over an hour to find any and as long as you are quiet and careful not to disturb them too much they are very obliging. Dawn is the best time to visit. Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted May 30, 2016 On first inspection one could be forgiven for thinking this was a silhouette, but the details in the shadows can be seen in the larger view I think the contrasting light and dewy grass gives the image great impact.Very well done my friend! dgv 1 Posted June 1, 2016 You are absolutely right, it's not a silhouette really. It has to be seen large to establish that. Thank you very much my friend !. Dimitris. Link to comment
