leo 0 Posted May 28, 2001 Normally I would think to use b+w film for night shots, but in this case color really adds a lot to the picture.Did you take a lot of shots ( with different exposure values) of this scene or just one? Link to comment
mark_jacobs1 0 Posted May 28, 2001 I think overall the colors, lighting and composition are great. The top may have a little too much black. Link to comment
shane 0 Posted May 31, 2001 Night photography rocks! I love the warm colors. What if there were someone/something in the foreground? Keep shooting at night! Link to comment
vadim1 0 Posted May 31, 2001 Great night shot, and exposure is perfect I find. The only thing I wish it didn't have was the fading borders... even though there is fog... just, leave the fog in the photo =) Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
think27 0 Posted June 2, 2001 Wonderful image.... I'm going to point out an advantage to all the black at the top.... Think ads, think mags, think cards... Perfect place for type. I've learned this from shooting for ads and magazines - especially covers. Also - it serves to bring me totally into the image as if I were there. Tunnels my eye in. Link to comment
jim hathaway 0 Posted June 4, 2001 You managed to capture the light rays streaming through the tree branches, must have been hard to do. That and the fog make this image really interesting. Link to comment
g1 0 Posted July 23, 2001 Wicked!! Excellent the way the light is streaming. Can't think why people are bothered about too much black. Sometimes space (and the arrangement of it) is just as important an element as the subject. Personal taste I suppose, but I for one like seeing the subject emerge from darkness, it adds much to the mood and gives it impact. Link to comment
billmagee 0 Posted February 5, 2002 Fantastic picture. There are colors and contrasts here that are extreamly hard to find. Add to that great composition and what do you get. A super great picture. Thanks for sharing! Link to comment
