Boys collecting Pipis

This picture has very pleasing effect on me. I wish I was there right now.

thanks, Its a beautiful place, i wish i could spend more time there. its only 25min flight from Auckland (home)i should really go more often.

you should have gotten closer to your subjects. They are so tiny that it is really tough to see them.

The subject is the water, the boys are decoration

Blues and browns complement each other very well. Nice curves too. What is a pipi(s)? Nice photograph.

Pipis are a type of shell fish found throughout New Zealand in shallow water in the sand, probably have them other places too, but im unsure of their common name??

do you think the slight over exposure works?? comments appreciated
