I like this landscape very much - wonderful color and compositional depth, with just a very pleasing look about it.

I would have liked to see a bit more of the foreground, (enough to avoid cutting off the lower right post) - and a little less of the sky perhaps.

David, thanks for your thoughtful comments.  The fence thing bothers me too, but the end of it was in a ditch, and as you can see, the lower half of the image was in shadow and so it was tough to include more of the "drab".  Really appreciate what you have to say.  Best, Jeff

Yes, sometimes the absolute best composition is just not possible.  The only alternative would be to not make the picture - which would have been a shame in this case.

I like this image even more viewing it the 2nd time.
