LenMarriott 9 Posted March 10, 2016 My favourite of your current posts requesting critique\comment. Better viewed 'larger'. Your subjects are well placed to show both their synchronized action and their focus on each other. (look at their eyes) Good timing on your part. Arenas are tough places in which to photograph. Usually poor lighting intensity and colour & crappy backgrounds. Lighting would likely be better for the actual performance but for a practice run you've done well. Some EXIF data would likely be appreciated by others attempting to do what you've done here. Happy snapping! Len.
Marvin 4 Posted March 10, 2016 Thank you Len,The last time I visited this rink the lighting was much poorer. I also didn't own a fast enough lens. For these shots I used my 100mm f2.0 Canon. Still, I had to use an ISO of 400 so I've got digital noise. My 7D Markii is out for repair - maybe that would have done better than my 7D.
